Google Internships

If
If you've been alive in the past decade you know what Google is and what they do. You might also know that they were rated by Fortune Magazine as one of the 100 Best Companies to work for and picked as the number one "ideal" employer among undergrads in a poll by Universum USA. If you're pretty creative and skilled with that screen sitting in front of you and have a technical major why not apply for an internship with the King of Search.

It goes without saying that Google internships are ultra competitive. Their internships seem to start along with many others between April and July which means you should start checking their student internship openings page in the Fall as they are posted. Their undergraduate internships fall in one of four departments: Software Engineering, Product Management, User Interface & Design, and Specialized Technical roles. You can read the descriptions of each here.

Google has been heavily recruiting student talent and from the looks of the photos and videos on their page about life at Google, they treat their interns very well. Although most positions are offered at their Headquarters in Mountain View, California, they also have opportunities in New York and Seattle as well as overseas.
